曾榮獲美國紐約藝術指導協會年度獎銀獎的日本知名設計師駒形克己，為了孩子開始創作圖畫書。每一本書在尺寸、用紙、題材及裝幀上都匠心獨具，製作過程耗時費工，成就一本本具有極高藝術價值的作品，曾獲得波隆那New Art獎、瑞士國際兒童圖書特別獎。這一本書原先是法國格勒諾布爾市為歡迎該年度出生的嬰兒而出版的禮物書。除了運用不同造型切割的紙型及部分燙銀印刷呈現書中要素，還利用光線與挖洞共演視覺效果；當光線穿過書封上的星形挖洞，便會在書頁上投影出有亮光的星星。

Where is the place where stars rest?

The cover is die-cut in the shape of a star, some parts are made of soft glossy paper, and the text is stamped in silver and foil, giving the impression of stars shining in the night sky in a simple design based on white.

The book was commissioned by the city of Grenoble, a town at the foot of the distant Alps, for its Bookstart program, in which books are given to babies born in the same year.

Published simultaneously in Japan and France in 2004.
